This work originates from an experience in which Korean text appeared corrupted while English remained intact within digital systems. In Korean, such distortion is described as "broken"—framing linguistic failure as damage rather than difference.
 

The circular form of "ㅇ" is constructed from fragmented Hangul consonants, garbled characters, and reclaimed ceramic shards from broken works. These elements accumulate unevenly, bending, collapsing, and drifting rather than closing into a stable circle.
 

The work treats movement as deviation, imbalance, and erosion. By resisting symmetry and completion, it questions universalist claims that render certain languages legible while pushing others toward illegibility. Movement becomes a record of linguistic difference persisting—fractured, displaced, yet continuously in motion.
